Amazon is offering massive iPhone 13 discounts, here’s how to take advantage of the price drop – Technology News, Firstpost

The iPhone 13 price has seen a massive drop on Amazon, across all of its storage variants. As part of its Countdown Deals sale, Amazon is offering discounts ranging from 5% to 11% on all iPhone models.

The e-commerce platform is offering an 11% discount on the basic iPhone 13 variant, with 128 GB of storage. This brings the price down from 79,900 to Rs 70,900. The 256GB version also gets an 11% discount, bringing its price down to Rs 79,900 from the current Rs 89,900.

The 512GB variant is getting a 5% discount, bringing its price down to Rs 1,04,900 from Rs 1,09,900.

Users can also avail an additional discount of Rs 11,150 if they choose to opt for the trade-in discount and have a device capable of obtaining this type of discount. This way, the base iPhone 13 variant, with 128GB of storage, can be grabbed for as low as Rs 59,750.

Amazon is offering deep discounts on the iPhone 13

The iPhone 13 comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display and an advanced dual-camera setup with a 12MP OIS wide unit and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. Users also get a 12MP EIS front camera capable of shooting 4K selfie videos. The device is powered by the A15 Bionic chipset and 4GB of RAM, which on paper might seem insufficient, but it’s actually way more than one might need.

Amazon is offering deep discounts on the iPhone 13

One might wonder why Amazon is offering such deep discounts on a premium product such as the iPhone 13, especially since the next iPhone 14 won’t be launched at least until September this year, as is the standard with Apple.

The reason for these discounts may stem from the fact that Amazon and most e-commerce platforms have to clear their inventory if they want to get their hands on the Indian-made iPhone 13, which Apple started manufacturing recently in its Sriperumbudur factory. E-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart will be able to source the new Indian-made iPhones at much better discounts and should be able to pass those discounts on to their customers.
