L3Harris to support ULA in the launch of Amazon’s Kuiper COMSATs – SatNews

L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) was selected by United Launch Alliance (ULA) to provide critical avionics and communications equipment to launch Amazon’s Project Kuiper commercial satellites over a five-year period.

ULA will launch the majority of Kuiper Project constellation of satellites to bring low-latency broadband service to places not served by traditional networks.

L3Harris, ULA’s primary launch avionics partner since 2017, will provide communications transmitters, range safety receivers, power distribution and control, data acquisition, flight computers and monitoring units. inertial measurement. L3Harris provided proven launch avionics and services supporting Atlas V and Delta IV; and L3Harris is the primary avionics supplier for the new Vulcan Centaur rockets through 2027.
