Record number of entries arrive at Pinnacle Awards 2022

The Pinnacle Awards are open to all furniture and textile designers, makers and students who have been directly involved in the design of furniture, decor or textile products available for retail sale in the past year.

HIGHLIGHT—The International Society of Furniture Designers received a record number of entries for this year’s Pinnacle Awards, with 210 entries received in 20 product categories. The high number of registrations represents a 30% increase in submissions and a 20% increase in the number of participating companies.

“We are delighted to see so many projects enter this year’s highly competitive Pinnacle Awards competition,” said ISFD Executive Director John Conrad. “We saw the strongest growth in the Designer/Maker, Luxury Occasional, Home Office and Outdoor categories.”

The Pinnacle Awards are open to all furniture and textile designers, makers and students who have been directly involved in the design of furniture, decor or textile products available for retail sale in the past year. They celebrate designs that are produced in greater numbers primarily to be sold to consumers.

The Pinnacle Award recipient is the designer(s) who were directly involved in the design craft of the product(s).

“Plus, it’s good to see that more companies than ever are recognizing the value of professional product designers and the additional revenue generated by Pinnacle-winning products,” said Conrad. “Winners will be announced at the High Point Market during the Pinnacle Awards gala on Monday, October 24 at the newly opened Nido and Mariana Qubein Arena and Conference Center at High Point University. Tickets available by visiting the Pinnacle Award Gala website.

The 2022 Pinnacle Awards sponsors are: Continental Hardware, Elements Studios, Furniture Design Studios, Furniture Today, High Point Market Authority, International Market Centers, Leggett & Platt and Sherwin-Williams. Thanks also to High Point University and the International Textile Alliance for their continued support.
