The changes to the rent entitlement controls will be explained in detail in the latest free webinar organized by Propertymark for its members and non-members.

Timothy Douglas, Head of Policy and Campaigns for Propertymark, will be joined by Gillian Brown, Head of Policy at the Home Office, for the webinar at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 19.

They will help officers understand the role of Identity Service Providers (IDSPs) and the new digital process for overseas nationals and EU citizens without settled or pre-settled status which was introduced on 1 October .

Timothy Douglas, Head of Policy and Campaigns for Propertymark, said:

“The combination of the end of Covid adjusted cheques, the expiry of the Brexit transition period and the Home Office digitization process has resulted in significant changes to the rental entitlement process. Our Home Office guest will go over the new processes in more detail and answer any questions officers may have to help them fully understand what is expected of them and the different ways in which checks can be carried out.
