The MacBook Air regularly goes on sale for $ 900, so while that extra $ 50 discount isn’t life-changing, it’s rare. On the outside, the MacBook Air with M1 (9/10 WIRED recommends) has a redesigned keyboard but looks pretty much like its predecessors. Inside, you get great performance with Apple’s silicon, quiet, fanless construction, and long battery life. Our guide to the best MacBooks has more details.
