‘The Bachelor’ Couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Quickly Flip a Texas Mansion

Just a month after buying a home in University Park, Texas, a reality TV couple Sean Low and Catherine Giudici from “The Bachelor” pulled off a quick and successful turnaround.

Let’s rewind. In March, the house landed on the market for $3,995,000. In April, the couple bought it for $4,096,400. In May, they listed him for $5 million. In June, their gamble paid off with a sale for an undisclosed amount, possibly north of the $5 million they were after.

Marketed as ‘French Transition’, the custom-built home has proven immune to any rumble of a market downturn. According to the agent, it’s all about location and luxury.

“What makes this home so unique is its availability in one of the hottest neighborhoods in the country. It has top of the line appliances and a beautiful pool. But the real beauty is the location and the fact that the house has been modernized,” says the listing agent Rogers Healy.

Inside, the five-bedroom home offers high-end features like a built-in wine cooler, smart home system, and multiple stairs. Designed to entertain, it includes several living areas, a spacious dining room and a kitchen with a breakfast area.

The spacious master suite includes an exercise room, a spa bathroom and a huge walk-in closet. Three further en-suite bedrooms all have custom shutters and walk-in closets. On the third floor there is another bedroom with a full bathroom and several closets.

A spacious games room above the garage could also be converted into a home office or studio and has a snack bar with fridge.

Outside, the courtyard loggia has Lutron blinds and a fireplace for warming up after a dip in the pool. There’s also a built-in kitchen with grill and beverage center, and there’s even a Big Green Egg smoker installed.

Although Healy has not revealed who the next buyer is, he believes it will be a primary residence for the next owner with young children.

“This neighborhood is within walking distance of many parks and great restaurants,” he says. “The location is definitely a 10 out of 10. It’s located in what’s called the Park Cities neighborhood, and people call it ‘The Bubble’. It’s just a great home for a family.”
