The Moodie Davitt Report -The Moodie Davitt Report

Want to talk about your pet topic?

The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to bring you the latest edition of our Pet-sonality Profile column, in association with Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

In this regular fun feature, we find out more about travel retail pet personalities, their stories, traits and habits, as well as information about their owners. Each animal-sonality will also be digitally painted by pets and equine artist Sami Moodie.

In this edition, we meet Bronwyn (Bron) Clementson, commercial general manager of JCDecaux Australia and New Zealand, and Harvey, a Groodle who loves walks and water.

Introducing Bron and Harvey

Name + nickname: Harvey

Raising: Harvey is a Groodle. He is a male Lagotto poodle crossed with a female golden retriever.

How old is Harvey? Harvey will be seven on Boxing Day (December 26).

How did you meet? We met Harvey in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia when he was just four weeks old.

Love at first sight? Absolutely!

Weird habits? WFH (Working From Home) has been interesting with Harvey through COVID and beyond. He loves human attention and needs to be the center of attention at all times.

When a Teams call comes in, it barks for attention and constantly taps rather than allowing me to speak on the call.

Harvey: Obsessed with food, walks and water

Funniest and/or most enjoyable moment? When Harvey was a puppy, he had a haircut and what we didn’t know was that it would include a blow-dry. He was extremely fluffy and completely impressed with his transformation. We had to leave the room to laugh.

Harvey’s favorite trick? And treat? Turn a large stick into a match-sized stick by chewing and then leaving the scraps strewn on the floor.

It’s fair to say that anything edible is Harvey’s favorite treat.

If Harvey could talk, what would his first words be? Feed me! I’m so hungry.

Anything else we should know? Harvey is a big 31kg but very affectionate (i.e. needy) boy who loves walks and water and is a food obsessed member of our family.

His love of food is so great that when my son was little he used to hide under a basket to eat, to prevent Harvey from taking his food (see above).
